Kusum Kanguru Peak climbing (alternatively known as Kusum Kangru, Kusum Kangru) is a mountain in Everest Himalaya. Its name Kusum Kanguru means “Three Snow White Gods” in the Sherpa language which refers to the triple summit of the mountain. Kusum Kanguru is one of the first high snowy mountains that are seen when trekking from Jiri to Mount Everest base camp.

Kusum Kanguru (6367m) is considered as the most difficult climbing trekking peaks in Nepal since out of twenty two attempts between 1978 and 1998; only nine successful expeditions have been reported. The first successful ascent of the main summit was made by Bill Denz of Nealand on 7th Oct 1998, climbing the south west face and descending the northwest flank. In recent subsequent years, new routes have been opened, all of them technically very challenging.
