Day 1: Arrive to Kathmandu
Upon arrival, you’ll be transfer to hotel for check in. After that, we will visit the Swayambhunath Temple, said to be 2500 years Stupa on a hillock, which offers a breath-taking view of Kathmandu City and the Sunset view. This Stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. Next we will visit Kathmandu Hanuman Dhoka (Kumari’s place). Dinner will be served at Thamel. After dinner you will be able to stroll along the busy street of Kathmandu city center. Overnight stay in Kathamndu.
Day 2: Kathmandu - Lumbini
After breakfast, we will depart to Lumbini by coach about 7-8 hours passing through the beautiful villages, Rivers, waterfalls. Upon arrival in Lumbini check in to Hotel and we will proceed for a day Excursion.
Day 3: Lumbini
Afternoon full day tour in Lumbini: the main attraction includes - The Sacred Garden, spread over 8sq km and possessing all the treasures of the historic area. Next, visit The Mayadevi Temples, which we find a bas relief of Mayadevi, the Buddha mother giving birth to him. The Mayadevi shrine the oldest monument of Nepal. The Ashokan Pillar, which was erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249BC to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site. The Sacred pond, Puskarni where the queen Mayadevi had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha. Overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 4: Lumbini - Kathmandu
Today, we will depart to Kathmandu by coach about 7-8 hours or (Domestic flight US$100 optional). Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. In the evening free and easy you may want to scroll around this exotic city. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 5: Kathmandu - Nagarkot
After breakfast, we will proceed to we proceed to visit for Buddhanath Stupa. This stupa is the largest in the Asia region and listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites at 1997. After lunch, drive to Nagarkot, 2300m above seal-level, this scenic spot, with a spectacular view of the sunset and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day. In the evening drive to viewpoint, enjoy magnificent sunset view. Stay overnight at Country Villa or similar 3* hotel.
Day 6: Nagarkot - Kathmandu
We will awake to the beginning of a cold but stunningly spectacular dawn: the first rays of the sun firing the peaks a hellish red slowly lighting the Himalayas from Kachenjunga and Everest in the Far East to the Annapurnas and Dwawlagiri in the West. Drive to Kathmandu. Rest of the day is free at leisure for shopping. Dinner and overnight stay in Katmandu.
Day7: Kathmandu - Pharping - Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive to Pharping approximately 45 minute drive to visit Guru Ringbuche cave, Guru Rimbuche monastery and Tara monastery. Thereafter transfer back to Kathmandu for your overnight stay.
Day 8: Kathmandu
After your breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to home with fond memories of Nepal.
