Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)
Arrive at Kathmandu airport where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transfers to hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this historic and vibrant city. Meet and get tour briefs and discussion from tour leader.
Day 2: Kathmandu Tour
After breakfast, start a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the city of glory. We visit Kathmandu Durbar (Palace) Square, the epicenter of religious and cultural life, an area filled with old temples and historical significance with old glorious Newari architecture. Afterwards we visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, which is majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. We proceed towards Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, whereas tourists can see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River. Later we visit Boudhanath Stupa, a Buddhist Stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes each facing the four cardinal directions, watching for righteous behavior of mankind and for human prosperity.
Day 3: Fly or drive to Pokhara (884m)
After morning breakfast in the hotel, we head for a 25 minutes scenic flight to Pokhara or 6 hours drive to Pokhara. In Pokhara we go to see the deep, narrow gorge of roaring Seti River from where we drive to Davi’s fall and further to Gupteswar Cave and the Bat Cave. In the evening we go lazing by the Phewa Lake for the leisurely row on its sparkling waters.
Day 4: Pokhara Tour
Early at dawn we drive to Sarangkot viewpoint to witness nature’s ethereal lightshow as the sun rises over the Annapurna range turning its peaks from white to gold. Day hike to Peace Pagoda Stupa, it is really a nice day hike or you can do Ultra light mountain flight and paragliding over the sky of Pokhara city.
Day 5: Pokhara Lumbini tour via Palpa.
After breakfast we drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. In Lumbii we go for a half day sightseeing tour. The spiritual heart of Lumbini is the Maya Devi Temple where the Buddha was born under a Bodhi tree. Other sites in Lumbini are Ashoka Pillar, Buddhist Monasteries, World Peace Pagoda and Lumbini Crane Sanctuary.
Day 6: Lumbini Chitwan Tour
After breakfast we drive ahead for Chitwan National Park, a famous wildlife viewing national park in Asia enlisted by the World Heritage where we will have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys, leopards, wild elephants, Royal Bengal Tiger and 450 species of birds.
Day 7: Chitwan Jungle safari tour
For watching wildlife, birds and the rare species of flora and fauna we can either go for Jungle Safari deep into the park in a four wheel jeep or on walk or choose an altogether relaxing way on a canoeing trip on the Rapti or Narayani Rivers or by elephant riding which is much thrilling rather than comfortable. Moreover, we can head for exploring surrounding Tharu villages.
Day 8: Chitwan Kathmandu overland tour
We drive back to Kathmandu. It takes 6 hours drive to Kathmandu, a scenic drive. Join at farewell dinner at typical Nepali restaurant with culture program.
Day 9: Kathmandu Airport.
Transfer to airport for onwards flight back home.
