The valley consists of the ancient cities of Kathmandu, Lalitpur & Bhaktapur. There are seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the valley, including many temples, monuments & stupas. Pashupatinath, the most revered Hindu temple, is also in Kathmandu.
Pokhara is known as the city of lakes. It also offers an awe-inspiring view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri & Manaslu mountain ranges. Fishtail peak (6,977m), popularly known as Machhapuchhre, is a landmark. The Himalaya peaks & the lakes make Pokhara a magical place where you can relax while boating or fishing. It is also the starting point for treks to the Annapurna region.
Jomsom is 20 minutes flight away from Pokhara. Jomsom is also a gateway to Mustang. Jomsom trek is quite popular amongst the tourists. It begins with an elevation of 900m from Pokhara through Kali Gandaki River at an altitude of 3800m; the pilgrim site of Muktinath temple. The famous temple of Lord Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang and is situated about 18 kms northeast of Jomsom. Here in the early 19th century the Hindus consecrated a Vishnu temple and named is Muktinath. In front of Muktinath Temple there are 2 Kunda (Water pond), where holy dip is believed it can wash away negative karma, the results of one past negative actions.
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will receive you and transfer to hotel. Spend free day on your own and tour briefing and meeting in the afternoon.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Kathmandu sightseeing tour visit the historical and cultural important places of Kathmandu valley which is enlisted in world heritage sites –Swoyabhuntath stupa, Kathmandu durbar square, Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa.
Day 3: Kathmandu Pokhara (200 km).
Take a scenic drive of 5/6 hours to Pokhara, the city of lakes and mountains.
Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing.
Pokhara sightseeing visit the famous caves, waterfalls, gorges and museums in Pokhara.
Day 5: Pokhara – Jomsom
Get a panoramic mountainous flight to Jomsom; it takes 30 minute flight and drive to Muktipath. Take some holy bath and praying, some photographic of course, the drive back to Jomson.
Day 6: Jomsom – Pokhara.
Fly to Pokhara in the morning and in the afternoon, hike to peace Pagoda stupa.
Day 7: Pokhara – Kathmandu.
Drive to Kathmandu, it takes 5/6 hours. Walk around Thamel for shopping souvenirs to your friend and family in the afternoon. Join our farewell dinner at Nepali restaurant with culture dance program.
Day 8: Kathmandu Airport.
We transfer to airport finally to get your fly back to home.
