Annapurna Ghorepani trekking is shortest, but most famous trekking in Annapurna region. Ghorepani Poonhill is the focal point of all Annapurna treks include Annapurna base camp trek, Jomsom Muktinath trekking and Annapurna circuit trek.
We drive to Nayapul by bus or cab or car to start this 5 days Ghorepani trekking. We trek through green meadows scattered with small village and colorful rhododendron forest to ghorepani, where high mountain peaks reach up above the surrounding hills. The highest point of this trek poonhill (3200m) and this is the best view point of this trek, from where you can see Sunrise, the whole Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri panorama views.
This is easy to medium level of trekking. No any previous trekking experience is required, but a good health level and mental preparation is helpful for this trekking. Spring and autumn is the best trekking season for Annapurna Ghorepani. This is also lodge to lodge based trekking, there good facility of hot water shower and electricity on Annapurna Ghorepani trekking. It is nice and warm temperature on day time and but in morning on the day we climb to Poonhill is chill. Please bring warm clothes for this day.

Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu
On arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will receive you there and transfer to hotel. Freely explore Kathmandu local market by your own. In the evening, short trekking brief meeting with your guide and team.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (30 minutes flight or 6hrs drive)
Fly or drive to nature and lake city Pokhara. If you drive by tourist bus, it takes 6 hours drive and by flight it is 30 min scenic Himalayan flight. Explore Pokhara by your own, walk around lakeside Pokhara and boating on Phewa Lake.
Day 3: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1491m, 1.30hrs drive, 4 hrs trek)
2 hours scenic drive to Nayapul, the trek start point and 4 hours scenic trek to Tikhedhunga.
Day 4: Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2855m, 6hrs).
Trek on uphill trail for 6 hours to Ghorepani. This is a scenic trek through village, spring stream and alpine forest of rhododendron and oaks.
Day 5: Ghorepani - Poon hill - Tadapani (2680m, 7 hours)
Morning climb up Poonhill for morning sunrise, get morning sunrise view and panoramic long Himalayan range from Poonhill. Back to Ghorepani and have breakfast, then continue trek to Tadapani for 6 hours.
Day 6: Tadapani-Ghandruk (1940m, 3hrs)
Trek descends down to Ghandruk for 4 hours. A big Gurung village from where you could see Annapurna south and Mt. Fishtail very much closed.
Day 7: Ghandruk-Nayapul –Pokhara (5 hours trek, 2 hours drive)
Trek descends down to Nayapul for 5 hours and then drives to Pokhara.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Drive or fly back to Kathmandu. Walk freely in Kathmandu for shopping souvenirs for friend and family. In the evening join our farewell dinner at typical Nepali restaurant with culture program.
