The mini Annapurna circuit trek is good for those trekkers who are unable to complete the full Annapurna Circuit trekking till Nayapul via Tatopani and Ghorepani due to the short span of time.  The mini Annapurna Circuit trek starts at Besisahar, and follow the Marsyangdi River north through the pretty Nepali villages with terraces of rice and wheat. As climb higher the vegetation changes to forest and finally we leave the trees behind and come to the Tibetan like area of Braga and Manang. There, we are surrounded by the grand Annapurna range and the small Tibetan style villages of the Manang area.


Turning west we cross the formidable Throng La pass (5416m), the highest pass in Annapurna region. From the top, get a magnificent view back to the Annapurna and ahead to the Kali Gandaki Valley, the deepest gorge in the world. Descending to Jomsom, the mini Annapurna Circuit trek ends with a spectacular flight down the Kali Gandaki Valley with Annapurna  one rising over 8000m on one side and Dhaulagiri on the other side.


This is also tea house – lodge to lodge based trekking. A good physical fitness is required for mini Annapurna circuit trek. The best time for this trek is autumn after mid of September to mid of December and spring 1st of March to June. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.

On arrival at Kathmandu airport, we receive you there and driv to hotel. Free day in the afternoon.

Day 2: Drive to Beshishahar.

Drive for 6 hours from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Day 3: Besishahar to Bahundanda.

Trek to Bahundanda (1305m.) and it takes about 6 hours.

Day 4: Bahundanda to Chamje

Trek to Chamje (1410m.) which takes about 6 hours.

Day 5: Chamje to Dharapani.

Trek Dharapani (1960m.) and it takes about 6 and half hours.

Day 6: Dharpani to Chame.

Trek Chame (2675m.) which takes about 6 and half hours.

Day 7: Chame to Pisang

Trek to Pisang (3100m.) which takes about 5 hours.

Day 8: Pisang to Manang

Trek to Manang (3440m.) and it takes about 5 and half hours.

Day 9: In Manang

Rest day at Manang and hang in and around town.

Day 10: Manang to Yak Kharka.

Trek Yak Kharka (4350m.) and it takes about 3 and half hours.

Day 11: Yak Kharka to Phedi

Trek Thorong Phedi (4420m.) which takes about 3 and half hours

Day 12: Phedi to Muktinath

Trek to Muktinath (3850m.) via Thorong La (5416m.) pass and it takes about 7 hours.

Day 13: Muktinath to Kagbeni.

Trek to Kagbeni (2895 m.) and it takes about 3 and half hours.

 Day 14: Kagbeni to Jomsom

Trek to Jomsom (2713m.) which takes about 3 and half hours.

Day 15: Jomsom to Pokhara.

Fly to Pokhara which takes about 20 minutes.

Day 16: Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about 7 hours.

Cost Includes

Airport receives and departure transfer by private vehicle – airport/hotel/airport.

Good hotel accommodation with breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per the clients demands.

Kathmandu tour with tour guide on private coach could be car, van or bus.

All ground transportation by private vehicle or flight as per the client’s request.

All the necessary trekking permits – TIMS Card and ACAP trekking permit.

Simple – neat and clean best available mountain guest house accommodation on twin bed room with hot shower at the end of trekking day.

All three times meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner with 3 cups of tea daily during trekking.

English speaking trekking guide during trekking and 1 porter between every 2 clients who carry 25 kg luggage, their insurance, meals, salary, accommodation and transportation cost.

Farewell dinner in Kathmandu on last evening of trekking tour.

All government tax and services charge.

Lunch and Dinner in city like Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Client’s travel insurance that should cover Helicopter rescue in case of emergency or evacuation.

All drinks like coke, beer, fanta, whisky, mineral water, pot of tea or coffee and hot water.

Expenses of personal nature- telephone, internet, laundry and all unexpected expenses due to weather situation like flight delay, sick, road blocked by landslide or accident that is out of our hand, we can’t control it.

Tips for guide, porter and driver, minimum 10% of the tour trekking cost amount is good tips recommendation that you can divide to guide, porter and driver as per their service.
