This is an intermediate adventure expedition that requires at least an average fitness level. Activities will be mandatory and occasionally physically demanding. Experience in this sport is recommended.

This expedition includes 9 days of trekking, 3 nights’ accommodations in Kathmandu, and 2 nights’ accommodations in Pokhara. This is general primary type of expedition, no need to carry any expedition gear at all, just the simple trekking gear is sufficient. No need to carry any camping gear, not necessary to fixed tented camp on the base camp. We sleep in mountain guest house along the trail even in Poon hill base camp as well. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
We pick you up at Kathmandu airport on your arrival and transfer to Hotel. Rest and take free walk on your own in and around Thamel market. In the afternoon, short tour briefing.

Day 2: Kathmandu tour
Spend the day exploring the Kathmandu Valley. Shake the jetlag with a visit to Swayambhunath, the “Monkey Temple”. Take in the views of the city from atop one of the most important Buddhist stupas in Nepal.

Day 3: Kathmandu Pokhara Travel
Travel by van or jeep or bust to Pokhara, home to the magnificent lake and gateway to the Annapurna region trekking. In the afternoon, walk around lakeside and lakes, boat on Phewa Lake to Fewa Island where the Barahi temple is located.  Stay in Pokhara.

Day 4: Pokhara Tikhedhunga trek
Your expedition begins! This first day is a tough one. From the trailhead of NayaPul, reach the village of Tirkhedhunga (1540m). Passing through the rhododendron forests, watch out for langur monkeys. Today travel takes 1 hour drive and 4 hours walk.

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani
From Tirkhedhunga, continue your ascent to Ghorepani. Gaining over 1200m this day, you’ll be exhausted, but triumphant as you enter the hilltop village and get your first views of the Annapurna range. Tired legs are to be expected and a rest day will be appreciated. It takes approximately 5-7 hours trekking to Ghorepani

Day 6: Free and rest day at Ghorepani.
Rest in Ghorepani (2800m). Ghorepani is a beautiful village at the top of a hill. You can rest in the village itself or trek 45 minutes to get to Poon Hill, known as one of the best vantage points for taking in the Himalayan dawn and enjoying the view of the mountains.

Day 7: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2600m).
Your gradual descent has begun! This trek takes around 5 hours. You ascend for two hours, stop for tea at Deurali, then descend down to Banthanti. Enjoy the picturesque waterfalls along the way.

Day 8: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m).
Walk 4/5 hours through pristine forests and move into the alpine region where you reach the famous village of Ghandruk.

Day 9: Explore Ghandruk (1940m).
Ghandruk is a one of the most famous village in Nepal, renowned for its natural beauty and terraced fields that open up to views of the surrounding peaks.

Day 10: Ghandruk to Pothana (1890m).
Trek descents and ascents for 5/6 hour to Pothana is a beautiful village where you can get tasty sukuti (roasted dry meat). The views of the mountains will still accompany you. 

Day 11: Pothana to Pokhara.
Take the return route to Pokhara while you bask in the accomplishment of the trek. Walk down for 4 hours to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara.

Day 12: Pokhara Tour
Spend this rest day by the lake, taking in the views and enjoying your first hot shower in days!

Day 13: Pokhara Kathmandu.
Travel by van or jeep to Kathmandu. Join the rest of your group for a farewell dinner with culture program in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Kathmandu airport.
Final transfers to Kathmandu airport to get fly back home.

Cost Includes

  • Airport receives and departure transfer by private vehicle – airport/hotel/airport.
  • Good hotel accommodation with breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara as per the clients demands.
  • Kathmandu tour with tour guide on private coach could be car, van or bus.
  • All ground transportation by private vehicle or flight as per the client’s request.
  • All the necessary trekking permits – TIMS Card and ACAP trekking permit.
  • Simple – neat and clean best available mountain guest house accommodation on twin bed room with hot shower at the end of trekking day.
  • All three times meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner with 3 cups of tea daily during trekking.
  • English speaking trekking guide during trekking and 1 porter between every 2 clients who carry 25 kg luggage, their insurance, meals, salary, accommodation and transportation cost.
  • Farewell dinner in Kathmandu on last evening of trekking tour.
  • All government tax and services charge.

Cost Excludes

  • Lunch and Dinner in city like Kathmandu and Pokhara.
  • Client’s travel insurance that should cover Helicopter rescue in case of emergency or evacuation.
  • All drinks like coke, beer, fanta, whisky, mineral water, pot of tea or coffee and hot water.
  • Expenses of personal nature- telephone, internet, laundry and all unexpected expenses due to weather situation like flight delay, sick, road blocked by landslide or accident that is out of our hand, we can’t control it.
