Day 1: Kathmandu –Pokhara.
Drive or fly to nestled valley and sitting on a lake so still it reflects the mountains; Pokhara is the gateway to the Annapurna region trek and Nepal second largest city. Set before a stunning backdrop of snow-clad peaks, the Modi Valley is a delightful world of friendly villages, rhododendron forest and mesmerizing vistas.
Day 2: Trek to Lamakhet/Yangjakot
Drive an hour to Kalikastan, then trek for 5/6 hours to Lamakhet and stay there.
Day 3: Trek to Siklis Village
Trek 6 hours to Siklis is a traditional Gurung village with welcoming inhabitants, picturesque terraced fields, alpine meadows and spectacular views of the Annapurnas.
Day 4: Trek to Ghalegaun
Trek ascends and descends for 7/8 hours to Ghalegaun, the remote enchanting village to experience the culture and hospitality of the local Gurung people.
Day 5: Ghale Gaun to Pokhara.
Trek to Sardi Khola almost on flat trail and then drive to Pokhara. With towering peaks in the distance and streets filled with cafes, shops and temples, Pokhara is a relaxing city sitting by the banks of Phewa Lake.
