This slow trekking designed for slow trekkers who form their team of pensioner and retirement people who have time for relax and enjoy the view of nature, and then finally be their final trek destination. We follow our respected trekker pace and itinerary. No need to follow the designed trekking itinerary. This the below slow trekking itinerary is just the guidance. You could customize our trekking itinerary with consulting trekking guide on the field.  Slow trek to Everest is tea house trekking; we sleep and eat at local lodge.  The trekking grade of Everest slow trekking is medium to difficult. A warm and good trekking gear and good shape of health is required for Everest slow trekking.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Receive at Kathmandu airport once you would arrive in Kathmandu.Drive to hotel and free day in the afternoon. O/N in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Tour
Take tour to Kathmandu, a beautiful exotic Hindu and Buddhist city with an abundance of ancient temples. Pre trekking briefing and meeting with your guide and helpers.

Day 3: Kathmandu –Lukla –Phakding
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m) and trek to Phakding, where we camp in a teahouse at 2650m. It takes 40 minute flight and 3/4 hours trekking.

Day 4: Trek to Namche bazzar.
Walk to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Day 5: Rest at Namche bazzar
Rest, acclimate, and relax in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3,900m)

Day 7: Walk along to the village of Pheriche (4,250m)

Day 8: Walk along to the village of Dughla (4,620m)

Day 9: Walk along to the village Lobuche (4,930m).

Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep

A short day up the Khumbu glacier takes us to the rocky outpost of Gorak Shep, with three cozy teahouses (5,160 m)

Day 11: Exploration Hiking to EBC

Walk up to Everest basecamp, which lies atop the Khumbu glacier (5,300m).Return to Gorak Shep.

Day 12: Trek up Kala Patar (5,545 m). This evening we stay in Pheriche (4,250m)

Day13: Walk back to Tengboche

Day14: We will walk back to Namche Bazaar.

Day 15: Walk down from Namche to Lukla.

Day 16: Return flight to Kathmandu.

Day 17: Extra day of rest and celebration in Kathmandu.

It is nice to make Bhaktpur tour if you wish to visit an impressive temple city.

Day 18: Kathmandu Airport
Fly back to home. Goodbye everyone, it was nice meeting you

Cost Includes

  • Client’s travel insurance that should cover Helicopter rescue in case of emergency or evacuation.

  • Expenses of personal nature- telephone, internet, laundry and all unexpected expenses due to weather situation like flight delay, road blocked by landslide or accident that is out of our hand, we can’t control it.

  • Tips for guide, porter and driver, minimum 10% of the tour trekking cost amount is good tips recommendation that you can divide to guide, porter and driver as per their service.
