Trek to Jomsom is a cultural pilgrimage tour. This is one of the most popular tea house treks in Nepal. The trek from Pokhara to Muktinath offers the greatest cultural diversity of any in Nepal. You will pass through villages inhabited by different ethnic groups like Thakali, Gurung, Magar and at higher the Tibetan culture is predominant along Jomsom trekking route. On a trek you may visit several authentic Tibetan monasteries.
The trekking path follows up the Kali Gandaki Valley, one of the deepest gorges in the world been the soaring peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and finally emerges to the north of the main Himalayan range in a dry desert like area, similar to the Tibetan Plateau. The highest point of Jomsom trek is at the holy Temple of Multipath (3800m), the god of salvation, which affords spectacular views. It is also possible to end the trek at Jomsom (2800) if you would start from Pokhara and trek up, and normally it is great idea, trek down to Pokhara by flying to Jomsom.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m). Transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Tour
Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Rest of the day is for preparation of the trekking.
Day 3: Kathmandu –Pokahra (820m, 200km, 6 hours drive)
Drive to Pokhara by bus & overnight stay at Hotel
Day 4: Pokhara to Kagbeni (2800m)
Fly to Jomsom for 30 minutes and then trek to Kagbeni (2,800m) for 3 hrs along the bank of Kaligandaki River.
Day 5: Trek to Muktinath (3,800m, 4 hrs.)
Day 6: Trek to Jomsom (2,710m, 5 hrs).
Day 7: Trek to Kalopani (2,530m, 4.5 hrs).
Day 8: Trek to Tatopani (1190m, 5hrs).
Day 9: Trek to Ghorepani (2750m, 7 hrs).
Day 10: Trek to Tikhedhunga (1600m, 4 hrs).
Day 11: Trek to Birethanti and then drive back to Pokhara (4 hrs).
