Temperature on Everest base camp trek will be at - 10 degree centigrade before sunrise and can reach 18 to 20 degree in the day. Sometimes snow is encountered; although in trekking season, it ensures good weather. It is advisable to bring good enough trekking equipment like warm cloths and gear for Everest base camp trek. Trekkers need to carry their small day pack with necessary personal items like water bottle, rain jacket, warm jacket and camera gear, and big rucksack or duffle bag is carried by the trekking porters or helpers which they will get back at the next tea house camp.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345m).
On arrival to Nepal, we meet you at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. We wait you at airport with your name so that you would know us easily.
The rest of day in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some last-minute shopping in Thamel area near by your hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu tour and pre-trip meeting.
Have breakfast and start Kathmandu world heritage sites tour to Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Swoyambhunath stupa and Kathmandu durbar square.
In the afternoon, pre trip meeting – introduce with your guide and helper, discuss about trekking. For the meeting, please make sure to bring passport or copy of your passport with pieces recently taken passport-size photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance. Please inform us in advance if you will be arriving late and therefore are unable to attend the pre-trip meeting.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2804m) and trek to Phakding (2610 m, 3 hours).
An early morning start drive to airport for 35 minute scenic flight to Lukla (2804m). Meet our porters at Lukla and trek to Phakding (2610m). An easy trekking takes 3/4 hours passing through villages and Mani stones with inscription “OM Mani Padme Hum” means Hail to Jewel in the Lotus.
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3444m, 5/6 hours).
Continue trekking for 6 hours following the Dudh Koshi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar known as the Gateway to Everest is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchanges, internet cafes and bakeries. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail.
Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day.
Spend a day at Namche to acclimatize. A short trek to a museum is celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people and hike up to Syangboche Airport around Everest View Hotel are recommended. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas
Day 6: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 m, 5 hours)
The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of the mountains to Tyangboche (3860 m) today. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning depending on how the day trekking went.
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4350m, 5/6 hours).
Trek drops to Debuche, crosses another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola, and climbs to Pangboche amongst thousands of Mani stones. Our uphill trek continues, taking us to Dingboche with its exquisite views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. Trek slowly so we avoid getting affected by the altitude.
Day 8: Trek to Chhukung (4710 meters) and trek back to Dingboche.
Today you can enjoy another day for acclimatization. We will have a trip to Chhukung valley via the Imja Khola valley to get a marvelous view of the surrounding mountains, especially Lhotse’s massive south wall, then return to Dingboche in the evening.
Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4910 m, 5 hours).
Trek continues along the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for climbers who had died in Everest summits. We continue to climb to Lobuche (4910 m) which is really just a few huts at the foot of giant Lobuche peak. Some breathing problems may arise today due to the altitude.
Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 m) then back to Gorakshep (5180 m, 8 hours).
A big and difficult day walks along the Khumbu Glacier to Everest Base Camp (5365 m), the closest you can get to Mt. Everest without mountaineering equipment. There will be many expedition teams about to attempt the summit. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is spectacular. Trek back to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 11: Climb up Kalapatthar (5555 m) early in the morning and continue trek down to Periche (4200m, 7hours).
One of the most difficult but rewarding days of Kalapattar trek. Climb up Mt. KalaPatthar (5500m), a small peak. The ascent is demanding but the climber gets the most magnificent mountain panorama of Everest, the highest point of the world at 8848 meters, towers directly ahead and on all sides loom the other giants, Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others. Trek quick descent to Gorak Shep, and then trek down to Periche.
Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 m, 5.30 hours).
Take a slightly different route down to Orsho, then to Pangboche village. Leaving mountains behind us, continue trek descent to Namche Bazaar in the afternoon.
Day 13: Trek to Lukla (2804 m, 6 hours).
Return trek to Lukla on the same way we had trekked up, enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part and also giving you time to explore the town.
Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu.
Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains while taking 35 minute scenic fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 15: Leisure day and farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

Day 16: Kathmandu Airport.
