Day 1: Kathmandu/Lukla/Phakding
Travel to Nepal and fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, gateway to the Everest region. Start trekking along the Dudh Kosi River and spend the night in the village of Phakding.
Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Criss-cross over the river en route to Jorsale, the trek halfway point. Later in the day, finish with a challenging uphill climb to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the first glimpse of Everest.
Day 3: Trek back to Monjo
Climb to the highest hotel in the world for unobstructed views of Everest. Then it is back downhill to the settlement of Monjo.
Day 4: Trek to Lukla
Enjoy a leisurely walk back to Lukla.
Day 5: Lukla to Kathmandu
