Nayapul is an actual starting point of the trek. We can reach by a short car/taxi drive from Pokhara, and then trek to Tikhedhunga through a small villages of Birethanti,  paddies fields, waterfalls and stream via Birethanti. The trek follows jungle of Rhododendron to Ghorepani Poon Hill via Ulleri and Banthanti villages.

Poon Hill, the highest point of the trek, and we then continue trek to Jhinu Hot Spring via Tadapani, another best view point of Annapurna south and Hiunchuli. After enjoying hot spring bath, we trek to Australian camp, the best vantage point. On the way, we pass beautiful villages such as Landruk and Tolkha. We hike down to Kande after enjoy the last view of the Himalayas and drive back to Pokhara. The once in a lifetime, Nepal Annapurna trek ends here.

Trip Itinerary


You will meet our representatives and they take you to Hotel. After refreshment in the hotel, short briefing about the programs will take place. Free day on your own in the afternoon.


Wake up in the morning, get toursit bus drive to Pokhara that leaves from Kathmandu at 7:00 AM in the morning for 6-7 hours drive arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon at 3:00 or 3:30 PM. Walk around lakeside in the afternoon and stay night at hotel in Pokhara.


Breakfast, drive along the zigzag route to Nayapul where we commence our trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous riverside village at the confluence of the Modi and Bhurungdi Kholas (streams). We hike up to Sudame along the off road and then climb gradually up the side of the valley, Tikhedhunga. Cross suspension metal bridge and steep ascent on stone staircases to the village of Ulleri – and an amazing landscape of valley floor where we came during the day with marvelous views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.


After breakfast, our pleasant trekking begins through rhododendron and oak forests. The scenery will give you the energy to continue up the steps as you immerse yourself in the walk. After a few hours and with several breaks we reach Ghorepani. Upper Ghorepani (Deurali) where we stay in this trip, offers fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Himalayas.


Take an early morning trip to Poon hill (3,210m through rhododendron forest for a a great sunrise view over the mountains of Dhaulagiri (8,172m), Annapurna, Fisthail, Manaslu, Nilgiri and Hiunchuli. After countless photographs, walk back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Continue to Tadapani crosses numerous ridges through thick pine and rhododendron forest with occasional flat sections and wonderful views of the snow peaks to the north from high ground.


Breakfast and trek down hill through Chuile and Kimrong Khola to Jhinu Hot Spring for 7 hours. Dip and relax into the hot spring at Jhinu Danda.


Breakfast and trek to Autralian camp for 6 hours via Landruk and Toklha. Australian is the best view point for sunrise, sunset and the best view for Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and other Himalayan range.


Breakfast and trek to Phedi via Dhampus for 5 hours and then an hour drive to Pokhara. Walk around lakeside Pokhara on your own in afternoon in Pokhara. Stay night at hotel in Pokhara.


Brekfast and get tourist bus drive back to Kathmandu.It is also possible to somedays in Pokhara on your own since Pokhara is beautiful nature city.


Breakfast and free day walking around Thamel, buying souvenir for your family and relatives and final transfer to Kathmandu airport to get your flight back to home.

Trek Accommodation

Trek accommodation will be very basic on the mountain tea house lodges, yet it is neat and clean. The room with twin beds with common sharing toilet and bathroom with 24 hours cold water running.


Trek Meals/Food

You can choose meals from menus of the tea houses. Typical meals are as omelets, toast, boiled eggs, noodle soup, fried rice, macaroni, mo mo, vegetable curries, pizza or chow mein, Tibetan bread, pasta and so on. The traditional Nepali Dal Bhat which consists of rice, lentils, and a vegetable is a good choice. There is one saying that Dal Bhat power 24 hours in the mountains. Meat on the mountain is not hygienic and so it is nice to have vegetarian meals on the trek.


Annapurna Trek Weather/Temperature

The day is nice and warm when the sun comes. Morning, Evening and night is colder than day. Some of the tea house make fire in dining Chimney in the evening which is cosy nice and warm. The temperature is in between 28 degree to -8 degree.

Yes and of course, the trek is for all hikers like experience and non experience trekkers. No previous trek experience is necessary to join this trek. This is a moderate grade trek, best for trek beginners.


Well, it is nice to make your baggage/rucksack 10 kg to 12 kg for porter. The small day pack you can carry by yourself, putting your personal important belonging like camera, passport, money and water bottle.


Yes, almost all the tea house have electricity. Some tea house provide light by solar panel.


Yes, travel insurance is necessary for the trek, in case of emergency for rescue and medication. We are trekking in the mountain. Your travel insurance ensure you feel the safety guarantee.


This is all four season trek. Autumn, Spring and Winter, the best time of year for this trek.


There is no specify training method to recommend to prepare for the trek. It is nice to jogging regular, weekend hiking, Gym, yoga exercise and dance is helpful. The training you should do, it depends on the level of fitness and any medical conditions.


The group size will be minimum 2 to maximum 12 people. The groups typically mix of individuals, couples and friends travelling together of ages 20's to 60's. The group comprises of people from all nationalities.


The trek consider moderate in difficulty, yet a good level of fitness is helpful to enjoy the trek. As long as you are physically fit and possess sound health, you can enjoy this trek. We have a flexible route with enough acclimatization and rest days before heading towards higher elevation.


Since you will be in the mountainous region, Wifi and phone network might not work everywhere or for many days. However, most of the guesthouses offer Wifi for free or for a little charge. It is better not to rely on the internet and enjoy your trip.


At the lower altitude guesthouses there will provide the facilities of hot shower. And in rest of the places (at higher elevation), warm water in the bucket will be provided for shower. For all the showers, it costs you extra charge as per shower. The higher you go the hot shower is expensive.


Yes, you will be able to use ATM and Credit Cards in Kathmandu and Pokhara. As you are in the trek, it does not work. It is nice to carry cash in hand while you are trekking in the mountain.


The hotel in Kathmandu provides free storage services. So you can leave all your items that are not necessary for the trekking at your hotel. It is also possible to leave at our office too.


This is a difficult thing to gauge. We have seen everything from USD 20 to USD 1000 per person for guides and porters. Tipping is not required, but a small gesture of thanks to your guides and local porters. The level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvement with your guide. However, we recommend you to spend minimum 10% of your total trip cost for tipping to guide and porter.


Yes, all our trips are guaranteed to run. We never cancel the trip due to not having enough participants. We can arrange your trip even if you are alone there at the same group cost. Please inquire about this during the time of booking.


These facilities will be available in most of the places in your hotel reception by paying some extra cost. Remember to bring TWO and THREE pin travel adapters! You can also buy the adapters in the super markets or electronic shops in the Kathmandu. Our guide can help you with it.
