Day 01Arrive to Kathmandu, Nepal(1350m)

This day you will arrive to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Receive you at Kathmandu airport upon arrival and drive to hotel.
Day 02Kathmandu Tour-Pashupatinath Temple, Boudha Stupa and Durbar Square.

Breakfast and you will explore Pashupatinath, Nepal's most important Hindu Temple. It is located along the banks of the holy river of Bagmati and draws many Hindu pilgrims each day. Afterwards, you will explore the area in and around Boudha, home to the largest Buddhist Stupa in all of Asia. Boudha is located just outside of Kathmandu and is nearly 1400 years old. After lunch, you will wander around the ancient UNESCO World Heritage site of Durbar Square in Kathmandu. The square is full of traditional Newari architecture that is rare to find in modern times.
Day 03Kathmandu to Bhaktapur Tour(30km, 1 hour, 1300m)

After breakfast, you will make the short drive out of Kathmandu to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bhaktapur, Nepal's best preserved ancient city. You will spend the day exploring the ancient city before returning to Kathmandu in the late afternoon.
Day 04Kathmandu to Lhasa(3600m)

Breakfast and transfer to airport to get flight to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. When you arrive to Lhasa, you will be met by your guide and transported to your hotel. You will explore the Jokhang, the holiest Buddhist temple in the Himalaya’s. Founded nearly 1400 years ago, Jokhang Temple houses the most sacred statue of Buddha. You will work your way through this fascinating temple alongside Buddhist pilgrims from the faraway regions of Tibet. The sound of pilgrims chanting mantras fills the air as does the smell of yak butter candle offerings. In the afternoon, you will go to the 600 year old Sera, one of Tibet’s largest Buddhist monasteries. Each weekday afternoon starting at 3pm, monks engage in Buddhist philosophy debates, which are fun to photograph.
Day 06Lhasa Sightseeing

You will start the day by exploring the Potala Palace, Tibet’s most iconic building. Towering above Lhasa with more than 1000 rooms, the Potala Palace served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lama’s for hundreds of years. After lunch, you will go to Drepung, another of Tibet’s huge monastic complexes. The pilgrimage circuit around Drepung takes about an hour or so and offers spectacular views.
Day 07Lhasa (3650m) to Shigatse(3900m,355km) via Gyantse(3990m).

In the morning, we will depart from Lhasa and drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake. Yamdrok Lake, during clear weather, is a brilliant turquoise color and is one of the 4 main holy lakes in Tibetan Buddhism. The huge, glaciated 7191 meter Mt. Nojin Kangtsang forms the backdrop of the lake. The lake sits at an elevation of 4441 meters above sea level. Along the way to Gyantse, we will stop by the glaciers of Mt. Nojin Kangtsang at the Karo La Pass, which come down almost to the highway. Gyantse is a small, but modern Tibetan town. You will be visiting the Pelkor Chode Monastery as well as the Gyantse Kumbum, the highest stupa (Buddhist pagoda) in Tibet. The scenic drive from Gyantse to Shigatse goes through several traditional farming villages that you will stop at. Shigatse is home to Tashilhunpo Monastery and its 600+ monks. This monastery, one of the largest in Tibet, is the seat of the Panchen Lama, the second most important lama in Tibetan Buddhism.
Day 08Shigatse(3900m) to Rongbuk/EBC (5200m, 320 km) via Tingri

In the morning, we will visit the home of Panchan Lama - Tashilunpo Monastery and then drive to Lhatse, it is a small town where you can have lunch. After lunch, we drive crossing Tsola Pass(4600M), and Gyatsola Pass(5248M). Shortly after we enter Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve, tourists can enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gawula Pass(5198m).Then we drive along the New zigzag road to Everest Base Camp(5200m). You can get closer view of Mt. Everest peak. The sunset of golden Everest peak if time and weather permits at the lodging area. Stay overnight at Rongbuk monastery guest house.
Day 09Rongbuk to Gyirong/Nyalam( 2800m/3500m, 370km)

After watching the sunrise over Everest, you will continue our journey to Gyirong. On the way, tourists can enjoy breathtakign vista of Mt. Shishapangma and the Pekutso Lake. After passing the Ghungtang Lhamo(5236M), we will arrive in Kyirong in late afternoon. Stay overnight in the guesthouse in Kyirong
Day 10Gyirong to Kathmandu(165km, 1350m)
165km, 7 hours drive BB plan - Breakfast. Twin Sharing Standard Hotel in Kathmandu.
In the morning you will say goodbye to your Tibetan guide and driver and cross over into Nepal. Our Tibetan guide will assist you to exit China via Gyirong border. The tour service ends. The sharing jeep transfer from Tibet/Nepal border to Kathmandu will costs USD 60 per head.
Day 11Kathmandu airport
