Day 01Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu

Upon arrival Paro airport you will be received by your guide and driver and make the 65 kilometer drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Along the way, you will stop at the Tamchhog Lhakang Temple. This temple has a beautiful bridge spanning the Paro River. This bridge was rebuilt in 2005 using some chain links dating back to the 15th century. You will also stop to photograph village life in either Bondey or Namseling. In Thimphu, you will settle into your hotel and if time permits, explore Trashi Choe Dzong (fortress), which lies along the banks of the Wang Chhu River. Drive time from the Paro to Thimphu is about 1 hours.
Day 02Thimpu Tour and Drive to Paro

This day you will explore many of the main sites in Bhutan's capital city of Thimphu. The first place you will go to is located far above the town of Thimphu. The huge statue of Buddha Sakyamuni sits on a mountainside overlooking the Thimphu Valley. You will also go to the National Memorial Chorten (stupa), which was built to honor the 3rd king of Bhutan in 1974. Each day, local Bhutanese come here to pray, meditate and spin Buddhist prayer wheels. You will then visit the Changlimithang Archery Ground to see some of Bhutan's best archers competing (Archery is Bhutan's National Sport). Next, you will visit our friends at Simply Bhutan, where you will learn about traditional village life. From there you will visit the National Textile Museum to learn about Bhutan's living art of weaving. After spending most of the day exploring Thimphu, you will make the 1.5 hour drive to Paro.
Day 03Paro and Taktsang Tiger's Nest Monastery
2 hours hike AP Plan-Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Standard Accommodation Hotel in Paro
After breakfast, you will make the short drive to the trailhead leading to Taktsang/Tiger's Nest Monastery. The monastery requires a 2 hour hike through a nice forested mountainside. The trail is very safe. Situated on the side of a mountain some 900 meters above the valley floor. Tiger's Nest is Bhutan's most iconic and most famous temple and is a highlight of any journey to Bhutan. After going up to Tiger's Nest, you will make the hike down and have lunch at a nice restaurant along the way. The remaining part of the day you will explore the beautiful temple of Kyichu Lhakang as well as the National Museum and the picturesque Paro Dzong. You will also have time to do some shopping in downtown Paro.
Day 04 Paro Airport
Before 3 hours you will have go to Paro Airport BB Plan-Breakfast Back to Kathmandu
Bhutan Tour ends. You will be transported to the Paro Airport to get flight back to Kathmandu.Note that the trip itinerary can be customized to suit you. The exact daily itinerary is subject to change depending on the season.
