Trip Itinerary


You will be received at Kathmandu airport by our representative holding your name plate. After formal meeting,and welcome with a traditional flower garland and transferred to your hotel. There is an option of familiarization walk to the old Kathmandu in the suburb of tourist center of Thamel.


Come down to the Hotel restaurant for breakfast. Your tour guide will be introduced. Today Kathmandu city tour visit Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu durbar square-Kathmandu Durbar Square is known by Basantapur Durbar Square, the former residence of Royal Kings of Nepal where you can see the living goddess Kumari. She is considered as a living form of goddess Kali or Taleju. In addtion, there are pagoda style temple, erotic wood carving on the truts of the temple, courtyards, mask of Bhairav and also the local and the sadhu pass by on the streets.

Swyambhunath Stupa - Swayambhunath is also called Monkey temple since the monkeys show different dramatic activies to the visitors. The stupa perched a top the hill towards the west of Kathmandu Valley. This is sacred religious sites of all. Apart from the religious significance, Swayambhunath stupa is famous for the panoramic view of Kathmandu valley.

Pashupatinath Temple - Pashupatinath devoted to lord Shiva is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia. The temple is built on 5th century and renovated by later rulers time to time. There you can see human world from loving birds, crippled, begger, dead body cremation, mourning people and holy men Sadhus. This is really a interesting heritage sites of Kathmandu valley.

Boudhanath Stupa - Boudhanath is one of the most famous heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. This is the best landmark of Kathmandu Tourism. It locates 8 km toward the east of Thamel. The 36 meter high stupa is one of the biggest stupas in South Asia. Boudhanath is the focal point of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism in Nepal, incalculable religious communities encompassing it.


Wake up early in the morning to join the one hour flightseeing tour to Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Breakfast and drive to visit Patan also known as Lalitpur and one of the oldest Buddhist cities in the world. It is best known for its fine arts and crafts and rich cultural heritage. Here you will see the Durbar Square and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Your tour ends with a visit to the Tibetan Handicraft Centre where you can witness the hand- weaving techniques used to make Tibetan carpets and the moulding of metal statues. Its main objective is to help the Tibetan refugees by providing them job opportunities, and then drive to Nagarkot.

Nagarkot is the best tourist place, a 32 km far from Kathmandu on the eastern edge of Kathmandu valley. Nagarkot is not only popular for its sunrise and sunset view but also the Himalayan Panorama to see Mount Everest on the northest and the Annapurna and Manaslu to the northwest and the Langtang and Ganesh Himal in the centralnorth. Nagarkot also offer a great valley view and the contranst country landscapes of green hill and mountainous terraces. Stay night in Nagarkot.


Wake up in the morning, enjoy the sunrise and the himalayan panorama with breakfast, and day hike down to Changunarayan temple for 4 to 5 hours. Changu Narayan Temple is one of the least visited heritage and historical site of Kathmandu valley. There can see a very old pagoda style temple, probably the most oldest temple that date back on 3rd century Bc. There can see Licchavi time's stone and wood icon and staue. A great countryside landscapes are seen while hiking to the temple. From there we drive to Bhaktapur durbar square. Bhaktapur is a medieval city also called Bhadgaun known as the "City of Devotees", named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk along the maze of winding streets lined with homes and temples dating back to the 13th century. Marvel at the intricately carved deities of the richly molded Golden Gate and the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, with its exquisite wood carvings. View the Golden Sprout, the Taleju temple complex, and Nyatapola, the five storied temple in Taumadhi Square, and drive back to Kathmandu for overnight stay.


Upon arrival in Lhasa either by train or flight, your guide/representative will receive you there and transfer to your hotel Viewing the Yarlung Tsangpo River/ Bhamaputra river, the Longest and largest river in Tibet and Lhasa river on their way to Lhasa.Take a rest and get acclimatized to high altitude You can spend the afternoon wandering around the Barkhor, Tibet’s ancient market area that surrounds Jokhang Temple. Each day thousands of Buddhist pilgrims make their way around this sacred temple. You may visit Potala Square, where you will enjoy the fountain with different colors and get amazing photos of the Potala and around


You will start the day by exploring the Potala Palace, Tibet’s most iconic building. Towering above Lhasa with more than 1000 rooms, the Potala Palace served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lama’s for hundreds of years. After lunch, you will go to explore the Jokhang temple, the holiest Buddhist temple in the Himalayas. Founded nearly 1400 years ago, Jokhang Temple houses the most sacred statue of Buddha. You will work your way through this fascinating temple alongside Buddhist pilgrims from the faraway regions of Tibet. The sound of pilgrims chanting mantras fills the air as does the smell of yak butter candle offerings. Around the temple is Barkhor street, where you can do kora, a religious circle of a building or mountain with pilgrims and locals, and explore the old market.


Today you will explore 600 year old Sera monastery, one of Tibet’s largest Buddhist monasteries. Each weekday afternoon starting at 3pm, monks engage in Buddhist philosophy debates, which are fun to photograph.You can also see three sand Mandalas and colorful Rock Painting of Buddha. After lunch, you will go to Drepung, another of Tibet’s huge monastic complexes. The pilgrimage circuit around Drepung takes about an hour or so and offers spectacular views.You can visit biggest monastery kitchen inside the monastery and enjoy Buddhist Sculpture Carving workshop near Drepung.


In the morning, drive from Lhasa to Shigatse crossing over the Gampala pass (4790 m), and you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso (4400m) .The Lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains and in the distance you can have spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar, (7191m) the highest mountain near Lhasa. Later, we will pass and enjoy the Karola Glacier on the roadside. At Manak Dam Lake, you can hang pray flag at Simila Mountain Pass. Then, we will arrive in Gyantse, historically Tibet's third largest city after Lhasa and Shigatse.In Gyantse, we will visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum and enjoy the Far view of Gyangtse Fortress. After one and a half driving, we arrive in Shigatse, which is the second largest city in Tibet. In Shigatse, we may visit traditional Barley Mill and view the landscape of Barley Field. Stay overnight in Shigatse.


In the morning, we will visit the home of Panchan Lama - Tashilunpo Monastery. Then, we’ll leave Shigatse after getting your Alien’s travel permit, and then drive to Lhatse, it is a small town where you can have lunch. After lunch, we will pass Tsola Pass(4600M), and Gyatsola Pass(5248M). Shortly after we enter Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve, tourists can enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gyaula Pass(5198m).Then we drive along the New zigzag road to Everest Base Camp(5200m). You can get closer view of Mt. Everest. The sunset of golden Everest peak if time and weather permits at the lodging area. Stay overnight at tent or Rongbuk monastery guest house.


In the morning, we can enjoy the sunrise over Mount Everest if weather permits and start drive to saga, you can view of the worlds’14th highest peak Mount Shishapangma (8012m), and Turquoise Lake Peiku tso(4590m). If you are lucky enough, you may see wild donkey, wild antelope. Stay overnight in Saga Xibuyizhan Hotel or Mu Linsen hotel


On the way to Darchen, you will have a chance to appreciate the stunning view of the Saga valley between Gangdise Range and Himayala Range. Meanwhile, the beautiful grassland and local's villages can also be seen. As we cross the Mayomla Pass(5112M), you can enjoy the spectacular vista of Mt. Naimonanyi(7694M). Then we are supposed to pass by the holy Lake Manasarover and finally arrive at the southern foot of Mt.Kailash, the most holy mountain in Tibet. stay overnight in Tarchen Chongqing Hotel


In the morning, we are supposed to take eco-bus from Darchen to Sarshung valley. Then we will meet Yaks and porters at Sarshung village.The cost of hiring yaks, horses, and porters are not included in the package. After that, we can begin the trek around 13km from Sarshung to Drirapuk Monastery along the Lachu valley and rivers. You can enjoy the both west and north face of mountain Kailash today. Finally, we will visit Drirapuk Monastery. stay overnight in Guest House


Today, we will trek over Dromala pass(5630m), the highest pass of the Kora. On the way you can have a rest in a teahouse. All the way, you can see locals Tibetans prostrating in the Kora path and beautiful Kadoe Lake when walk downhill. We may also visit Zutulpuk Monastery. Stay overnight in Guest House.


On the day three of the kora. you will trek 7km to Zongto where you can take bus to Darchen. Along the Kora, you can see piles of Mani Stones. We will end the Trek around noon, rest in the lodging place.


Drive from Darchen to Saga via Lake Manasorovar. Stay overnight in Saga Xibuyizhan Hotel or Mu Linsen hotel.


Drive from Saga to Sakya. Stay overnight in Sakya Yuan Fu Hotel


In the morning, we will visit ancient Sakya town and you can tour Sakya monastery with amzing murals and huge collection of scriptures and statues.Then we are about to drive from Sakya to Shigatse. Stay overnight in Manasarovar Hotel.


We will follow Yarlung Valley back to Lhasa. On the way, you can stand on the viewing platform to view the vast Yarlung River bed and visit Water Mill making Tibetan Incense material in Summer, if time permits. Drop off at hotel in Lhasa. Stay overnight in Lhasa.


The Tibet Kailash trip ends, and after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Lhasa airport to get flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu airport receive you at the airport and drive to hotel. Free day in the afternoon.


Free day in Kathmandu on your own. Stay night at hotel in Kathmandu.


Breakfast and final transfer to Kathmandu airprot to get your flight back to home.
