This trip begins from Kathmandu to Basantapur. After visiting Kathmandu Valley heritage sites drive ahead toward Basantapur and start your trek to Summit. In order to, this trip take around 30/35 day. And you will using both way domestic flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar,and surkhet to Kathmandu. Otherwise you will take either private or local bus. And the best season is March to May and September to December.

Similarly, you will head toward the high camp to Summit with good acclimatization day. A climbing guide will provide the essential climbing gear to successful the summit climb Bokta peak.During the climbing you will fully enjoying to view of Mt.Kanchenjunga and many other beautiful mountain peaks. After spending short and quality time at the Bokta Peak Summit,you will descend to base camp. From there you will descend through the route of Toronto,Yamphudin,Phonphe, Kunjari to finally arrive at Surkhet.


Trip Itinerary

You are welcomed and received by us at Kathmandu airport on arrival to Nepal. Then transfer to hotel and pre trip meeting and discussion about itinerary in the afternoon.

On Kathmandu sightseeing tour, we visit important historical and heritage sites of Kathmandu valley which is listed on UNESCO world heritage sites.We visit Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple and Kathmandu durbar square on this day tour. Boudhanath stupa is one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries. Pashipatinath temple is the most famous Hindu temple in Asia, located in the banks of Bagmati river where men are meditating, pilgrims are bathing and occasionally funeral pyres means dead body are burning/cremating on the ghats. Then come back to hotel and introduction meeting with your guide in the afternoon. You can ask any questions regard the trekking and climbing with your guide on this group meeting and the final preparations for the trip.

Fly to Biratnagar (100 m) and drive to Basantpur (2200 m) by Jeep. Overnight stays there.

6 hours walk/trek to Chauki.

Trek 5/6 hours on wonderful mountain terrain to Gupha Pokhari.

A long day walk takes 9 hours.

Trek 6 hours to Mitlung.

It is nearly 6 hours walk to Tapethok.

Trek 9 hours to Amjilosa.

5 hours trek to Gyabla.

6 hrs trek to Ghunsa.

Rest day for acclimatization in Ghunsa: climb to Yamatari Dudhpokhari glacier (4315 m) that takes 6 hours walk.

The most impressive mountain giant is from here good seeing Jannu or Khumbakarna (7710 m) with its enormous summit, is strongly reminiscent of a seated Nepalis of his with the typical nepali hat covered head on his left arm

Rest day or trip over the Corner Camp (5170 m) to Glacier Camp I (5270 m) and back to Base Camp Pang Pema with great views of the nearby six-, seven-and eight-thousand peaks. It is about 5 hours climbing hiking.

Early morning optional ascent to Drohma Spur (5870 m) for excellent views of the Kanchenjunga massif north of Pang Pema and return to Base Camp.

Trek 6/7 hours to Tseram.

You can also a play on the gravel-capped glacier to South Base Camp walk along.

Trek to Bokta base camp it takes 5/6 hours. We can see fabulous panoramic views of the entire Kanchenjunga massif from the south.

Climb to high camp and prepare for summiting Bokta Peak.

Trek down to Toronto takes 7 hours walk.

Site visit with butter tea and visit the Tibetan monastery.

Spend free day in Kathmandu for relaxing, strolling and shopping.

Transfer to airport to get flight back to home.
