Overview of Himlung Climbing Expedition 32 days

Himlung Climbing Expedition is an impressive mountain lies at 7126m in the Manaslu region of Nepal. In the north east of Annapurna mountain ranges, Tibet border is nearby. This peak is accessible for climber after 1992. It is less off beaten technical mountain than other peak of Nepal. The peak climb offer massif view of Manaslu ranges, Annapurna range and other surrounding high peaks.

This peak experience high level of climbing above 7000m. And you will excursion the Tibetan culture on the path. You will passes the several remote villages, dense forest areas, narrow gullies, impressive Gompas, and high passes during the peak climbing. This expedition has three higher camps at the heights of 5,450m, 6,000m and 6,350m respectively. The part of the climbing is pinnacle steep and ice way during the journey.

This journey takes to complete overall 32 days but you will reach base camp to summit within ten to thirteen day. Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, we will receive you there and drive to hotel. We will be waiting you at Kathmandu airport with your name so that we could know each other. Spend free day in the afternoon at leisure on your own.

Day 02: In Kathmandu

Prepare trekking and climbing like buying climbing equipment and hiring/renting it at Thamel market.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Khudi.

Drive to Bulbhuli (820m) via Besi Sahar by vehicle. Trek to Khudi (790m).

Day 04: Trek to Nagdi (900m)

Day 05: Trek to Jagat (1310m)

Day 06: Trek to Dharapani (1940m)

Day 07: Trek to Koto (2650m)

Day 08: Trek to Dharmasala (3230m)

Day 09: Trek to Kyang (3910m)

Day 10: Trek to Phugaon (4075m)

Day 11: Trek to Himlung Base Camp (4850m)

Day 12: Rest/gear prep Base Camp

We had a great experience with our guide Narayan, hiking the Manaslu circuit- he was professional and responsible, attentive to our needs, and very knowledgeable about the trail and the best places to stay, eat, etc.. This is the second time I’ve chosen Mission Eco Trek Co. for a holiday trip. For this trek, I decided two weeks before departure as a solo traveler. I booked a morningtrip to Nagarkot with a 2 hour hiking trip. I had the best time with mr Jitendra who runs the company and was my guide himself. He added some extra’s to the trip (eg the suspension bridge) bc the weather was cloudy and I didn’t have a good view of the mountains (which was my main purpose).
