Trip Itinerary


You will be received at Kathmandu airport by our representative holding your name plate. After formal meeting,and welcome with a traditional flower garland and transferred to your hotel. There is an option of familiarization walk to the old Kathmandu in the suburb of tourist center of Thamel.


Breakfast,and your guide will receive you at your hotel, tour to Swayambhunath also known as the "Monkey Temple". Swayambhunath is a 2000 year old world famous Buddhist Stupa and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its lofty white dome and glittering golden spire are visible for many miles from all sides of the valley. Painted on the four-sided base of the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Above each pair of eyes is the 'third eye' signifying the wisdom of looking within.

Continue on to Kathmandu Durbar Square, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Durbar Square means "meeting place" is the centre of old Kathmandu, a gathering of temples and shrines with intricate carvings. You willl see the temple of Kasthamandap, believed to have been made from the timber of a single tree, the three storied Akash Bhairav (God of the sky) Temple, and Hanuman Dhoka, the old royal palace named after the monkey god. From the entrance gate of the Hanuman Dhoka you can enter the Nasal Chowk courtyard. Continue on to the Temple of the Living Goddess, or Kumari House where you may catch a glimpse of the "Kumari" at one of the open windows overlooking the inner courtyard. Kumari is a tradition in Nepal of worshiping young girls as manifestations of the divine female energy or "Devi" in Hindu religious traditions.

After lunch in Kathmandu, we drive to Patan, one of the oldest Buddhist cities in the world, also known as Lalitpur, or the city of fine arts. Patan is one of three royal cities in the valley and is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments. Your tour ends with a visit to the Tibetan Handicraft Centre. Established in 1960 with the aid of the Red Cross and the Swiss Development Corporation, the aim of Tibetan Handicraft Centre is to help provide Tibetan refugees with job opportunities. Here you can observe how traditional carpets, and handicrafts like prayer wheels are made and sold in souvenir shops.


Today we do explore Bhadgaon, the "city of devotees". Found in the 9th century, is the home of medieval art and architecture. Here you can visit the Durbar Square, with its array of temples, and the Palace of 55 Windows. This Palace is the best example of the Pagoda style of architecture and stands on five terraces, on each of which stands a pair of figures - two strong men, two elephants, two lions, two griffins and two goddesses.

Continue on to the UNESCO World Heritage Site -the Pashupatinath Temple. This is one of the most significant Hindu Temples of Lord Shiva in the world. The richly ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga, or phallic symbols, of Lord Shiva. It stands as a symbol of unity bringing together the different sects of Hinduism under a single fold. It is situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Please note: Non-Hindus are not permitted to enter, but can view the temple from a special vantage point. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati River, a sacred place of cremation and where thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay their respects.

Then we visit Boudhnath, one of the largest stupas of it's kind in the world. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal directions, keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels.


Today visit the Manakamana temple situated in the Gorkha district of Nepal. It is the sacred place of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. The name Manakamana originates from two words, "mana" meaning heart and "kamana" meaning wish. Venerated since the 17th century, it is believed that Goddess Bhagwati grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her. Later this afternoon drive to Bandipur, a picturesque town nestled in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal, a land as famous for its natural beauty as for the hospitality of its people. Here you will get to see the traditional Newari houses, with carved wooden windows and overhanging slate roofs. Overnight in Bandipur.


This morning you will enjoy a walking tour around Bandipur. This Newar town has maintained its age-old flavour, and presents sightseers with a mix of history, architecture, incredible views, caves and unspoiled landscapes. Feast your eyes on a spectacular panorama of the entire Annapurna Range plus the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang from here. You will also gain an insight into Newar culture, while enjoying the pristine scenery. This afternoon drive to Pokhara, a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200 km west of Kathmandu valley, Pokhara is known as a center of adventure and the starting point for most treks The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.


Today Pokhara tour includes Devi's Fall also known as Devin's and David's. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall. Continue to Gupteswore Cave, one of the largest caves in Pokhara dedicated to Lord Shiva is another nature's wonder in Pokhara and Mahendra cave Known as Bat Cave. Your tour ends with a visit to Phewa Lake for a boat ride. Phewa Lake is the second largest lake in the Kingdom. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. The afternoon is at leisure.


Early this morning drive to Chitwan, Nepal's first national park, located in the south-central region of Nepal. Chitwan was established in 1962 by the late King Mahendra as a rhinoceros preserve. Prior to this, Chitwan used to be a favorite hunting ground for Nepal’s ruling class. Today Chitwan is a protected World Heritage Site, praised as one of the most rich wildlife sanctuaries in all of Asia. Arrive and proceed to your resort where the rest of the day is at leisure.


Today is at your leisure to enjoy various jungle activities organized by the resort, such as nature walks, canoeing, jeep safaris, elephant safaris and bird watching. Have lunch and dinner at the hotel.


Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then continue overland to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, proceed to your hotel. This afternoon is at your leisure to shop or walk around on your own. This evening enjoy a traditional Nepali Dinner.


Breakfast, receive you at your hotel and transferred from your hotel to the airport to get your flight back to home.

Yes, you can get on arrival tourist visa at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Most of people can obtain visa on entry to Nepal. There are some countries visa will needed to be organize prior to travelling. $25 for 15 days of visa from the date of issue, $40 for 30days and 100US$ for 90 days tourist visa. You need two photos.

Autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May), these are the best season to go on a trek. But according to the will of the traveler, the visiting and travelling in Nepal can be managed. Travelling in Nepal should be done during the summer time or September to November and March to May at the low lands can be done at throughout the year.


The travelling at the different parts of Nepal will be different according to the distance of the travelling destinations. Generally, there are different places where one can go for short and long travelling takes generally about 1 day or more week also.


While travelling in Nepal, meals are prepared good quality standards of hygiene, fruit and vegetable soaked . The food along the trail will be simple and a mix of local and international cuisine. If the traveler is camping , then they will mainly be served with the local foods of Nepal and as well as continental and western foods. In Kathmandu you will find meals in good quality tourist restaurants. Most of hotel serve good quality meal & filter water which is safe. Yes, there are pick pockets here, as you find in other countries so keep your belongings safe at all times. You need to take usual precautions as you would traveling anywhere in the world.


If someone get sick in the group, a fellow trekker in the group has to descend, then a porter/assistant guide would go with them. So the person descending would be well looked after and it would not impact on the rest of the group's experience. Emergencies are dealt with by the guide and depending on the severity.


Our Guides carry a comprehensive medical kit. But you should bring your own personal kit and carry it with you when on the trek. It should contain antiseptic cream, throat lozenges, headache pills, diarrhoea treatment, re-hydration salts eg Dioralite, Lemsip, plasters and Compede for blisters.


The hotel in Kathmandu provides the free storage services. So you can leave all your items that are not required for the trekking at your hotel or you can leave in our office too.


This is a difficult thing to gauge. We have seen everything from USD 20 to USD 1000 per person for guides and porters. Tipping is not required, but a small gesture of thanks to your guides and local porters. The level of the tip should reflect the level of satisfaction from and personal involvement with your guide. However, we recommend you to spend minimum 10% of your total trip cost for tipping entire local staffs, the ratio of tipping guide and porter will be given to you at the pre-trip meeting in Kathmandu before starting the travel.
