Cholatse Peak Climbing is a beautiful and famous peak at the altitude of 6440m in Everest Region of Nepal. It is also known as Jobo Lhaptshan and connected with Tabuche (6,501m), a long ridge. From this peak climbing you will sight panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. This peak is difficult to climbing than other peaks of Nepal. Also you will need technical skill and be careful in ascent part.
This peak climbing can participate those who has experience climber before in ice and rock climbing. For climbing this peak you have need great energetic and ability because of it is one of top vast mountaineering. Only few of participator climber will get success to climb this peak. And you will climb this peak on the month of September-October and April-May. This is the best season as weather and temperature is suitable and clear at that time.
You will view the mountain ranges like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Makalu, Baruntse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Cho-Oyu etc. Climber can reach this beautiful peak within few days of trekking from Khumbhu valley main entrance. You will start the journey from Lukla with acclimatization days to climb Cholatse. Thus you will gain more energy to climb this beautiful summit. Since the climbing permit is opened to issue from 2002.
Before 1982 it is already climb up this peak in easy route later in 1984 it is harder to climb from the north face. Most of peak climbing require technically Skill and ability source. So this one is one of tougher peak climb in everest region. Hence most of climber will climb to the summit from southwest ridge because the route can see easily from there.
Difficulty of Cholatse Peak Climbing
Thus, a climber must have a good physical and mental health as walk around 6-7 hour during trekking and climbing days. And as per ascending the trekking days, there will cold nights and snowy, windy days. Only descend route you will get warm temperature. Because of these factor, you will consider about to pack enough warm trekking and climbing gear.
