In the past, Nepal has experienced political unrest, however since November of 2006, the signed Nepal Peace Agreement, between the Government of Nepal and the Nepal Communist Party (Maoists) has brought this unrest to a close. but now there is the situation of peace and tranquility in the field of trekking as well as in whole Nepal.

Besides, the trekking stakeholders in Nepal are also forwarding several steps for the safety of the trekkers.
