Day 01: Arrival in Nepal

Welcomed and received by us at Kathmandu airport on arrival to Nepal. Transfer to hotel and short trip briefing and tour itinerary discussion in the afternoon.

Day 02: Kathmandu Tour and preparation for the trek

Kathmandu tour visit historical and cultural monuments sites of Kathmandu -Pashupatinath temple, Swoyambhunath stupa and Boudhanath stupa.

Day 03: Drive to Shingati (950m)

A scenic drives to Sigati that takes 6/7 hours drive.

Day 04: Trek to Jagat (1150m)

It is 5/6 hours trek to Jagat.

Day 05: Trek to Simigaun (1990m)

Trek 5/6 hours to Simigaun on up and down hill trekking trail.

Day 06: Trek to Gyalche (2990m)

5/6 hours trek mostly on uphill and downhill.

Day 07: Trek to Beding (3690m)

Trek 5/6 hours trek. A small Sherpa village, but it is beautiful.

Day 08: Rest in Beding for Acclimatization

Relax and acclimatize day in Beding.

Day 09: Trek to Chekigo base camp

Trek or climb to Chekigo base camp, it takes 4/5 hours.

10-19

Day 10-19: Climbing Period

Climbing and summit time for Chekigo Peak.

Day 20: Trek to Beding

Trek back to Beding from base camp.

Day 21: Trek to Simigaon.

Trek back to Simigaun, it takes 6/7 hours walk, mostly downhill trek.

Day 22: Trek to Jagat

Trek back to Jagat, 6/7 hours downhill walk.

Day 23: Trek to Shingati

Trek 5/6 hours downhill trek.

Day 24: Drive to Kathmandu

6/7 hours bus drive to Kathmandu on a scenic mountain road.

Day 25: Kathmandu Tour

Rest and final shopping day in Kathmandu Valley.

We had a great experience with our guide Narayan, hiking the Manaslu circuit- he was professional and responsible, attentive to our needs, and very knowledgeable about the trail and the best places to stay, eat, etc.. This is the second time I’ve chosen Mission Eco Trek Co. for a holiday trip. For this trek, I decided two weeks before departure as a solo traveler. Jitendra, the owner, patiently tailored a customized itinerary that fit my schedule. The trek is a 7-day ABC trek via Phoon Hill. I booked a morningtrip to Nagarkot with a 2 hour hiking trip. I had the best time with mr Jitendra who runs the company and was my guide himself. He added some extra’s to the trip (eg the suspension bridge) bc the weather was cloudy and I didn’t have a good view of the mountains (which was my main purpose).
