Overview of Langtang Lirung Expedition 34 days

Langtang Lirung Climbing Expedition is a large vertical massif mountain at the height of 7234m in Langtang region of Nepal. During the trek and climb of Mt. Langtang Lirung walking over the rim of North Langtang valley. This Langtang range lies three peaks are Langtang I, Langtang II or Ghenge Liru and the Langtang Lirung on the north. Thus the expedition climbing leads the most popular best trekking destination Langtang Valley with fabulous scenery. At the present Langtang is the third popular trekking destination of Nepal after the Everest and Annapurna region.

Likewise the expedition offers magnificent views of Himalayan ranges including Ghengu Liru, Gangchenpo and other surrounding high peaks. It leads to awesome picturesque heart of Langtang and Jugal range of mountains from the Langtang valley and Tamang Heritage Trail. Also this trip experience the ancient Bon-Po Tibetan Buddhist Culture. Also you offering close view of the Tibetan plateau rim border during the expedition journey. The expedition demands skillful, good physical condition and previous mountaineering experience climbers.

This wonderful journey start drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. And a climber commences the trek to lama hotel and follow the next other trail up to Langtang Lirung Base Camp. On the trail passing traditional Tamang village, serene forest lined with rhododendron, pines, firs, oaks and mountain ranges. At Langtang Lirung base camp takes proper acclimatization to maintain physical conditions for higher elevation. An expert guides will maintain the route fixing ropes and snow bar in using necessary technical sections to reach the summit.

We had a great experience with our guide Narayan, hiking the Manaslu circuit- he was professional and responsible, attentive to our needs, and very knowledgeable about the trail and the best places to stay, eat, etc.. I booked a morningtrip to Nagarkot with a 2 hour hiking trip. I had the best time with mr Jitendra who runs the company and was my guide himself. He added some extra’s to the trip (eg the suspension bridge) bc the weather was cloudy and I didn’t have a good view of the mountains (which was my main purpose).
