Ramdung is a best experience peak climbing mountain in Nepal. This Ramdung Summit is lies at the high of 5925m from sea level. Ramdung peak is also known as Ramdung-Go. A most challenging Tashi Lapcha Pass 5,755m will cross over to reach on summit. Thus you will explore the less beaten Rolwaling region & Khumbu region from this trek. You will splendid panorama ranges from Langtang to Everest.
The Ramdung peak is first traverse by Bill Murray in 1952. You will feel the sense of massive achievement from this Ramdung peak climbing. So this peak is adventerous and learn Sherpa life style, culture, people, mountain view, landscape, festival, etc. You will also explore the buddhist religion in this region.You will view the massif Himalayam range of Gaurishanker, Dorje Lakpa, Chobabhamre, Tibetan Himalayan views.
An experience proficient sherpa guide will support for the expedition. And you will need prior climbing experience and good comfort gear to make easier the journey.So one must have need the good ability of fitness level before the expedition journey.Futhermore this summit is an ideal trekking and climbing trail to follow the normal route, from the glaciers on north-east side.
On the summit expedition a climber will need the proper acclimatization for the healthy fitness. The Ramdung peak might take altitude and remoteness challenges on certain level. So expert climbing is perferable for the peak climbing and make good communicate with the guide for getting direction. Once at the top in Summit you will view an excellent Himalayan range of Everest, Melungtse, Gaurishankar and other surrounding peaks. The journey create wonderful experience during the trip.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01Arrival to Kathmandu.

You are welcomed and received by us at Kathmandu airport on arrival to Nepal and transfer to hotel. Spend free day on your own and trip meeting and briefing in the evening.
Day 02In Kathmandu
Half day Sightseeing BB Plan- Breakfast Standard Accommodation Hotel in Kathmandu
Prepare for permits & shopping. You can also make sightseeing tour in Kathmandu visiting temples and monuments.
Day 03Kathmandu to Dolakha by bus.
5/6 hours drive BB Plan- Breakfast Standard Accommodation Hotel in Charikot
We drive on the Friendship Highway to Lamosangu and from there follow the Jiri road as far as Charikot and the neighboring village of Dolakha, where we camp. It is 5 to 6 hour drive.
Day 04Trek to Sigati (920m, 4/5 hours trek).

We trek steeply down through villages towards the river, and then follow a trail which rises and falls through farmland, crossing a number of tributaries to reach Singati (950m / 3115ft).
Day 05Trek to Jagat (1,030m, 5 hrs)

We cross a major tributary as we leave Singati, then follow the Bhote Kosi River, with glimpses of Gauri Shankar to the north. A great day trekking to Jagat, beside the river.
Day 06Trek to Simigaun (1,990m, 5 hrs)

The gorge narrows as we approach the beautiful waterfall at Chetchet. Shortly afterwards we cross the Bhote Kosi to begin the steep climb up to the village of Simigaon (1996m)
Day 07Trek to Dovan (2,900m, 6 hrs).

Following a ridge above the town, we drop down on its north side, traversing the Rolwaling Gorge and trekking through dense forest to reach our camp in a clearing at Douan (2850m)
Day 08Trek to Beding (3,690m, 4 hrs)

We cross the Rolwaling River and trek on through the villages of Nyimare and Ramding to the main village in this valley, Beding (3694m). We camp by the school above the village
Day 09Rest day at Beding

Rest at Beding for better acclimatization with a chance to visit the local monastery and meet the resident monks.
Day 10Trek to Na (4,180m, 5 hrs)

We make the slow trek up to the summer grazing area of Na Gaon (4183m). We camp by a large boulder which marks the beginning of the southern route to the Yalung La.
Day 11Rest day at Na

Acclimatize at Na Gaon. There is the option for those who are acclimatizing well to walk up to the glacial lake of Tsho Rolpa.
Day 12Trek to Ramdung Base Camp (5,550m, 7 hrs)

Heading south, we climb out of the upper Rolwaling Valley, gradually ascending to Ramdung Base camp at 5040 metre.
Day 13Rest / Exploration Day

Acclimatize day. We will walk up to a viewpoint, where we can check out the route to our high camp on Ramdung. We spend a second night at base camp.
Day 14Trek to Ramdung High Camp

This is a snow skills training day. We have the option to make an ascent of nearby Yalung Peak (5650m).
Day 15Climb Ramdung (5,925m) and return to the Base Camp.

Today, we trek up onto the Ramdung Glacier and establish a high camp at around 5350 metre.

Roping up as we leave camp, we make an early start for the long ascent to the summit of Ramdung. After admiring the views, we descend all the way to base camp.
Day 17Trek to Drolambu Ice Fall (4800m, 4/5 hours trek)

Trek to the foot of the Drolambu Icefall which lies beneath the Tesi Lapcha pass. Camp is at around 4800 metre.
Day 18Trek to Pachermo Peak after Tesi Lapcha Pass.

We climb to top of the Tesi Lapcha and gain our first views of the Khumbu region. We camp just after the pass at an altitude of 5700 metre.
Day 19Climb/Summit to Parchemo Peak and trek down to Tengpo.

We make the short and direct climb to Parchemo summit, where the views include Mount Everest. We then descend to a camp at Tengpo in the upper Thame valley.
Day 20Trek to Thame

Good trails and an easy morning trekking take us to the important Sherpa settlement of Thame. Afternoon free to explore.
Day 21Trek to Namche bazzar (3500m, 5 hours trek)

Trek down to Namche Bazaar, an easy trekking day. Here we check into a lodge and have some time to look around the thriving Sherpa capital.
Day 22Trek to Lukla (2800m, 7 hours trek)

A long day, largely downhill, as we follow the Everest Trail from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. Again, we use a lodge in Lukla.
Day 23Fly back to Kathmandu

We fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, where we transfer to the group hotel. The afternoon is free for sightseeing and shopping.
Day 24In Kathmandu

Spend free day in Kathmandu for sightseeing or shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 25 Kathmandu Airport
