Overview of Tibet Everest Expedition 60 days

Tibet Everest Climbing Expedition is familiar as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chomolungma in Tibetan. This  peak is first official in 1956 during the Great Trigonometry Survey of British India government. Later it is well-known as Peak XV and ascertain at the height of 8840m. The Tibet side of Everest is less expensive than Nepal and does not have the Khumbu Icefall. You will climb the uncrowded Tibet North Col route to successful the summit in 1924 from Mallory and Irvine.

This expedition will successful from the experience team. You will drive to basecamp with experience the unique culture of the Tibetan. There are two routes on Everest Expedition i.e south route via southeast ridge from Nepal and north edge from Tibet. This expedition from Nepal side take higher charges than via Tibet side. The route of tibet side north face is little bit easy challenges difficult than south ridge route.

Difficulty of Tibet Everest Climbing Expedition

The Tibet Everest Expedition will complete within 60 days. The trip commences from Kathmandu to Nyalam and start the trek from Tingri to Tibetan base camp. You will get intermediate camp before reaching the advance base camp. The route is more technical because of exposes rock and weather. There are three popular Camps and steps in Camp 3. Camp 1 is in north col. From the north col, there is ascending the rock north ridge to camp 2.

From camp 2 is crosses the north face and reaching the site o camp 3. After the camp 3, you will traverse the three steps and the final summit ridge to the summit pyramid. So a climber need proper  acclimatization during this expedition. And the trip makes  great memorable to get happy moment in lifetime from the expedition. Those climber should must have need previous experience for the climbing expedition.

Detail Itinerary of Tibet Everest Expedition 60 days

Day 01: Arrive to Kathmandu (1,300 m)

Upon arrival to Nepal, we receive you at Kathmandu airport and drive to hotel. We wait you at Kathmandu airport with your name. The rest of the day is free and trip briefing in the evening.

Day 02: In Kathmandu

Bring passport to Chinese embassy, for visa. Logistics, training, purchasing, packing, training, visit temples, city tour, shopping.

Day 03: In Kathmandu

Pick up passport from Chinese embassy. Logistics, training, purchasing, packing, training, visit temples, city tour, shopping.

Day 04: Drive to Nyalam (3,750m)

Lhasa option: Rest in Lhasa, tour Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, the most sacred building in all of Tibet.

Day 05: Rest & acclimatization in Nyalam (3,750m)


Walk around the local hills and explore the ancient stone structures of this historical area.

Day 06: Drive to Tingri (4,300 m). Explore surrounding hills and beautiful meadows. See the restoration of the historical Buddhist temples.

Day 07: In Nyalam

Rest & acclimatization in Tingri. Explore surrounding hills.

Day 08: Drive to Tibet Everest base camp (5,200m).

Day 09: Everest base camp

Rest & acclimatization in Chinese base. Organize equipment and supplies.

Day 10: Tibet Everest base camp

Walk gently in the hills surrounding Chinese base. Chance to hike to the Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world. Meet the Lama and participate in a Puja ceremony.

Day 11: Everest base camp

Rest & acclimatization in Chinese base. Organize equipment and supplies. Preparing our yak loads at Chinese base camp at 5,200 meters/17,000 feet. Chinese base camp is located just near the medieval and active Rongbuk Monastery. Our camp is comfortable for the few days we spend there, with a full kitchen and dining tent, where our cooks prepare 3 hot delicious meals a day. There is plenty to explore in the surrounding hills, as well as many international climbing teams to meet.

Day 12: Climb to Interim base camp

Walk with the yaks halfway to advanced base to interim camp (5,800m).

Day 13: Everest Interim base camp

Rest & acclimatization in interim camp. View and explore in the surrounding valley, laced with massive ice-pilgrims.

Day 14: Interim base camp

Rest & acclimatization in interim camp.

Day 15: Interim base camp to Advance base camp.

Walk with the yaks to advanced base at 6,400m.

Day 16: In Advance base camp

Rest & acclimatization in advanced base. Extensive training. Organize supplies.

Day 17: In Advance base camp.

Rest & acclimatization in advanced base. This is about half way between Chinese base camp and advanced base camp.

Day 18: Walk to camp 1 North Col (7,000m). Return to ABC.

Day 19: Rest in ABC.

Day 35: Rest in Chinese base or drive to a lower village, the small Tibetan town of Shegar Dzong, also known as New Tingri. Above the town, ancient ruins that were once a Tibetan fortress are situated along a steep hillside and are very fun to explore. The ruins were once the Crystal Fortress and the capital of the Tingri region. The town is about 7 kilometers off of the main highway to Everest.
