The 8 days trekking to Annapurna base camp starts from Nayapul with a short drive from Pokhara. We then walk up through terrace fields, local villages and rhododendron forests. The trails also past the sparkling stream and beautiful waterfalls.
The once in a lifetime journey moves up to Modi valley and the Annapurna Sanctuary. The mountains views on the trail is amazing. Day 01Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)

Day 02Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1940m)

Breakfast then drive to Nayapul by bus or cab or private vehicle, and uphill trek to Ghandruk for 5/6 hour with great view of the Annapurna Himalayas.

Weather & Temperature on Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Weather/Temperature in Summer like June, July, and August is hot, and sunny. In the day time, temperature will be 20 to 30 degree and in the night temperature will be -3 to 10 degree. It rains a lot at this time of year.
Weather/Temperature in Autumn like September to November is moderate means neither hot nor cold. Cozy sunny day with clear and blue sky. In the day time, temperature will be 15 to 25 degree and in the night temperature will be -8 to 10 degree. Monsoon ends at this time of year.
Weather/Temperature in Winter like December, January and February. The coldest of all the months throughout the year. Mild sunny day with crystal clear views with blue sky. In the day time, temperature will be 10 to 18 degree and in the night temperature will be -5 to -15 degree. There possibly snowfall at this time of the year.
Weather/Temperature in Spring like March/April/ May is perfect. Sunny day with hot temperature. In the day time, temperature will be 18 to 28 degree and in the night temperature will be -3 to 15 degree.
Accommodation on Trekking Annapurna Base Camp
Accommodation on Annapurna Base Camp Trek Trail will be basic teahouses or guesthouses. Two separate beds in a room with common toilet and bathroom outside room. The higher we go up, the dormitory room with 3 to 5 beds in a room. The room is neat and clean. Bucket or hot shower is available, but it costs extra. In the lower part of the trek, it is possible to have room with private toilet and bathroom.
Food on ABC Trekking Trail
You can get simple meals like Nepal, Indian, Continental and Chinese food during the trek.The omelets, toast, boiled eggs, noodle soup, fried rice, macaroni, mo mo, vegetarian curries, pizza or chowmin, Dalbhat, porridge, Muesli, cornflakes, tea or coffee and breads are some common meals on trekking. Veg and non Veg items are available but will not recommend non veg food on trek because the meat is stale and not fresh.

Yes and of course, this is a moderate grade trek. 8 day trek in Annapurna Base Camp Trek Package is for trekking beginners.
The packing limit will be 12 to 15 kg on the big packs or rucksack carried by helper or porter.
Yes, there are electricity/power in the most tea houses. But no heating in the room. The charging is only possible in the dining room paying charging cost range RS 150 to RS 300 per hours.
Yes, Insurance is compulsory. It needs to covers rescue and other medication expenses in case of emergency.
The trek is possible all year round, but Autumn (September to November) and Spring (March to May), are the best time of year as the sky is clear to see the Himalayan range.
In case of emergency if someone get sick in the group, s/he will descend back with the porter or Sherpa and it is very serious evacuation by helicopter to Kathmandu hospital. The rest of the group can continue their trek.
It is nice jogging regularly, yoga, Gym and Aerobic to prepare for the trek.
There will be 2 to 12 people in the group of ages between 18 and 65 years, fixed up different nationals.
The trek difficulty level is moderate, and a good fitness level and sound health is required.
The ABC trek is not dangerous, but be careful of upcoming avalanche while trekking in winter to ABC
There are internet and telephone facility along the trekking trail. The network signal is not that much good, and the internet speed is also slow.
