Detail Itinerary of Kathmandu Valley Trek 3 days

Day 01: Kathmandu to Namo Buddha(1500 m, 5-6 hours)

Receive you at your hotel in Kathmandu, and drive to Dhulikhel for 2 hours to Dhulikhel is a great spot to enjoy sunrises and sunsets over the Himalayas, which aren’t too far away, and trek to Namo Buddha is one of the most sacred Tibetan Buddhist sites in Nepal. Arriving here around mid-afternoon, you can just relax or head to a lookout point close by for a stunning sunset.

Day 02: Namo Buddha to Balthali Villages(1900m, 4 hours)

After a breakfast, continue walking through fields and orchards to the quiet village of Balthali with a picnic lunch along the way. Here again there are amazing views of the mountains, farmland, and villages. Overnight at the Balthali Village.

Day 03: Balthali to Kathmandu via Panauti.

After breakfast with this spectacular view, start the trek to Panauti. Most of today’s trail is along a dirt road, passing beautiful small villages, terraced fields and amazing views. Finish at the Newar town of Panauti, where you can explore before or after a delicious local lunch, depending on how quickly you trekked down from Balthali, and visit around Panauti and drive back to Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Valley Trek accommodation provide in two/three Star standard hotel service during this trekking. Rooms are typically available on sharing based with attached bathrooms. Trek, the lodges/ hotel usually have available the hot shower and cold water .


Kathmandu Valley Trek Meals/Food

Trekkers can choose a meal/food from the menus at the guest house/ hotel . Typical meals on Kathmandu Valley trek includes omelets, toast, boiled eggs, noodle soup, fried rice, macaroni, mo mo, vegetarian curries, pizza or chow mien. The traditional Nepali Dal Bhat which consists of rice, lentils, and a vegetable is all you can eat and always a good choice. If you are non-vegetarian we will provides us meat items during trek and we suggest trekkers stick with vegetarian options.

There is not a problem for vegetarian food and in fact we recommend that everyone stick with a vegetarian diet on the trek as the local meat is not refrigerated properly. If you have special dietary requirements just let us know and we will make sure to assist with the proper menu.


Kathmandu Valley Trek Weather/Temperature

Weather/Temperature in Summer region Kathmandu Valley trek in June, July, and August have the hottest temperature.The temperature in the daytime in Kathmandu Valley is between 20 to 25 degree centigrade. The maximum temperature is found in the month of June and July. The nighttime temperatures in Kathmandu Valley during the summer is high too. The lowest that the temperature gets in the night time is 13 degree centigrade and a maximum of 5 degrees. The temperature in the months of June and July are pretty similar.
